Regulation Updates for June
1. Reminder on the CTI August 2023 Newsletter: India TEC issued will enforce Phase V products starting July 1, 2024.
2. On April 24th, 2024, Vietnam MIC issued Draft Circular QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT regarding specific absorption rate (SAR) for mobile phones with HS codes 8517.13.00 and 8517.14.00. The expected effective date is July 1, 2025.
3. Colombia ANE published Resolution 153 of 2024, allowing short range applications to use the 57-64GHz frequency band.
4. On April 18th, 2024, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has allocated WIFI 6E (5925-6425MHz) to be used by unlicensed Radio Local Area Networks (RLAN).
5. Indonesia SDPPI issued regarding the SAR testing for cellular telephone and tablet computer devices.
