      Analysis of Toys Recall Cases (January 2023)

      In January 2023, there were totally 34 toys recalled cases from EU Rapex system. As for country of origin, one was from Czechia, one was from Hong Kong of China, one was from Belgium, two were unknown, the rest were all from mainland of China.

      One case was recalled that plastic toy releases an excessive amount of bisphenol A. Bisphenol A has endocrine disrupting properties and affects the mammary glands, reproductive and immune systems and may impair the brain's development and the create adverse behavioural outcomes in children. 

      There was no recalled case from US.
      There was no recalled case from Canada.
      There were 3 recalled case from Australia, which the country of origin was unknown.
