New Certification Updates for June.
1. The Authority (OFCA) in Hongkong, China issued a new standard HKCA 1081 for products operating in the 6GHz band (5.925–6.425 GHz).
2. Currently local laboratories in Indonesia can perform testing for 76-77GHz vehicle radar devices. If there’s SDPPI application for this product, local testing is available now.
3. Effective immediately, the Communications Regulatory Authority of Qatar (CRA) announces on April 26th, 2022, allowing Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) devices to use WIFI 6E (5925-6425 MHz).
4. The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) updated the Regulations for WLAN devices on April 13rd, 2022.
5. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belaurs published Resolution No. 270, accepting CoCs and DoCs expiring between May 6th, 2022 and September 1st, 2022, to get new certificates with 12 months validity using existing test reports and factory inspection. This Resolution is in effect until December 31st, 2023.
6. On May 9th, 2022, the Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) removed the bandwidth limit of 10kHz for Low Power Devices using band 433.05-434.79MHz. Existing applied ETA Certificates remain valid and does not require reapplication.
7. L’Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications et des Postes (ARTP) in Senegal has published Short Range Devices (SRD) guidelines Decision N°2022-004.
8. The Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) in Brazil published new Act 5159 regarding testing requirements for Mobile phone chargers, which will be effective October 26th, 2022, and replace old Act 3481.
